Coalition meeting Bulgaria

On 17 September 2020, UNHCR, Bulgarian Council on Refugees and Migrants and Multi Kulti Collective organized a coalition meeting "Civil Society Structures for the Integration of Refugees in Bulgaria" in Haskovo.

Presentations were given by UNHCR, Bulgarian Red Cross, Caritas Sofia, Mission Wings, Council of Refugee Women in Bulgaria, Bulgarian Council on Refugees and Migrants, Open Space, Refugee Council at UNHCR, Refugee Council at Mission Wings, PhD Vanya Ivanova and Multi Kulti Collective.

Over 35 representatives of international organizations, NGOs, researchers, social workers, refugees, volunteers from Sofia, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Haskovo, Dimitrovgrad and Harmanli took part in the discussion with a focus on what measures can be taken to improve the integration of refugee, what are the opportunities for collaboration, transfer of good practices and information. The event was organized in the framework of the National Integration Evaluation Mechanism (NIEM) project, co-financed through the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund of the European Union.
