Coalition meeting in Bulgaria

On 6 March 2020 Multi Kulti Collective and Bulgarian Council on Refugees and Migrants with the partnership of UNHCR Bulgaria organized a coalition meeting "Refugee housing: good practices, challenges and opportunities for local authorities" in Sofia. 

Snezhina Gabova, PhD, presented her new report commissioned by UNHCR "Municipal housing policies: a key factor for successful local integration" as well as its second part "Good practices and programs for access to housing for migrants and refugees in Europe". More than 30 representatives of ministries, agencies, municipal administrations, NGOs, researchers, social workers participated in the discussion focused on what measures can be taken to improve the housing situation of refugees.
