Greece: 12th NIEM online Coalition Meeting
On 25th of June, 2020, “ANTIGONE – Information and Documentation Center on Racism, Ecology, Peace, and Non-Violence” (ANTIGONE) organized the 12th coalition meeting for the project “National Integration and Evaluation Mechanism” (NIEM). The meeting was held online using the zoom platform.
The topic of the meeting was “Pandemic and Refugees”. In the first part of the event, the main findings of the NIEM National Report were presented. Then, three presentations followed by key speakers discussing the effects of the pandemic COVID-19 on the Greek refugees. At the end of the meeting an open discussion took place. The event gathered approximately 30 participants. This meeting gave the opportunity for the opening of a dialogue between relevant stakeholders, which ANTIGONE team is planning to continue through the organization of upcoming events.
